Trendline & Market Structure Workshop

A full day of swing mapping, defensible trendlines, range boundaries, structural breaks, retests, and invalidation drills.

Who this day is for

This is the flagship session for self-directed traders who know candlesticks and order types but still change their market bias whenever price moves sharply. It suits people who overcrowd charts, force a trendline through poor touches, or cannot state exactly when a sequence of higher highs and higher lows has failed.

It is education, not investment advice. We do not provide signals, place trades, recommend brokers, or promise returns. Participants must be 18 or older and comfortable reading a basic candlestick chart.

What we work through

The morning begins with unlabelled charts. You mark significant swing highs and lows, separate impulse from correction, and describe whether price is trending, ranging, or transitioning. The group then compares markings and discusses why two reasonable readings can coexist at different timeframes.

After lunch, the focus moves to trendline quality: anchor selection, meaningful touches, slope, overshoots, and the danger of repeatedly redrawing a line to preserve a preferred story. Break-and-retest examples lead into a written checklist for confirmation and invalidation.

Included

  • Six hours of instructor-led work with a maximum of ten participants
  • A printed field workbook and a set of annotated practice charts
  • Guided exercises covering uptrend, downtrend, range, compression, and failed break
  • Lunch, tea, and water
  • One 30-minute online chart clinic within 21 days

Laptop loans, trading capital, platform subscriptions, and personalised financial recommendations are not included.

How the day runs

We open at 09:15 for setup and begin at 09:30. Each concept is demonstrated once, practised alone, then reviewed as a group. The final hour combines timeframe selection, structure, trendline relevance, and invalidation in a complete chart-reading routine. The workshop ends at 16:30.

Bring a laptop with your preferred charting service, its charger, and three saved charts that confused you. Historical charts are preferred; live trading during class is not permitted. Printed practice material is supplied.
